01Who we are

Awkkiosk, also known as American Web Kiosk ("Awkkiosk," "we," "us" or "our"), is a digital marketing agency providing services such as social media, paid advertising, SEO, content, branding, web development, mobile app development, video production, email marketing and AI automation.

This policy applies to our website at awkkiosk.com (including its service pages) and to information you give us when you contact us. It does not cover websites, apps or campaigns we build or run for our clients — those are governed by each client's own privacy policy.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a contact or consultation form on our website, we collect the details you enter, which may include:

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Business details — your business name and type of business.
• Project details — the service you're interested in, your budget range, what you'd like an app or campaign to do, whether you're the decision maker, your timeline, and any message you write to us.

We also collect whatever you choose to share when you email us, message us through live chat, or book a call with us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, when you load our pages your browser automatically shares technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the page requested with the services that deliver our site (our web host, font and code libraries — see How we share it). We do not use this to build a profile of you.

We do not run advertising pixels or analytics trackers (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics) on our website.

03How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and send you the information, proposal or quote you asked for.
• To schedule and hold consultations or strategy calls.
• To provide, manage and invoice the services you hire us for.
• To follow up about your enquiry or project. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To keep our website secure, working properly and free from spam or abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

04How we share your information

We only share information with service providers that help us run our website and business, and only as needed for them to do that job:

Each of these providers processes information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of Awkkiosk or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

05Cookies & tracking

Our own website code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Some third-party tools we use may set their own cookies when you interact with them — for example, Zendesk when you open live chat, or Calendly when you open its booking page — to keep those features working.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so won't stop you from reading our website, but some features like live chat or booking may not work properly.

Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because we don't track you across sites in the first place.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your enquiry, and client information for as long as we work together plus any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

07Security

Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send us sensitive information such as passwords or payment card numbers through our forms.

08Your rights & choices

You can contact us at any time to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Ask us to stop sending you follow-up or marketing messages.

To make a request, email info@awkkiosk.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we'll respond within the time required by applicable law.

09US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and why, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising.

As described above, we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and if we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response.

10Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11Third-party links

Our website may link to other websites, such as our social media profiles, scheduling tools or client projects. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please review their privacy policies when you visit them.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we'll make that clear on our website.
